Who blogs anymore...

Been a bit, but for whatever reason blogging isn't really on my mind much these days. Interesting things since the last one.....uh.....well.....I had some tasty cheese grits......

But for real:

TV/HD/XBox - I'm still diggin the 360. Picked up a boxing game (which apparently I super-suck at, see below), Fight Night Round 3. It's pretty good, but the all the loading gets old pretty quick. Still playing Viva Pinata....I know, very sad.

The TV rocks, especially with HD. I've now been exposed to it long enough to appreciate the difference between normal and HD. What I didn't expect was the full-frontal no-holds-bar'd whoopin my wallet was going to see trying to buy an HDMI cable. Damn things are nasty expensive.

BJD and I made it to BEST Regionals in Auburn. On arrival there was nothing for us to do, so we made plans to attempt to sit in all the major seating locations in the arena, which I believe we managed to do. It always amazes me how completely unorganized the regional event is. They pull it off every year (so far), but like Robin, I always leave thinking how it could be so much better if they would actually plan things out ahead of time. Unfortunately, I spoke with one of the directors and he wants to push for a hub centered in B'ham. Guess who's name is on the top of the list to help run it......doh!!!

Mid-last week I caught a cold. Sucks, but I was due. Luckily the worst part was on Friday, so I could enjoy the rest of the weekend to some degree. Porter came with his girlfriend (who has a VERY nice car, btw) for a party at Rich & Laure's (a party recap post, if I indeed make one, will be done at a later date). Friday night they stayed at my place where I unfortunately introduce Porter to the boxing game. After about two fights (in the game), he proceeded to whip the ever living dog snot out of me for the rest of the weekend. Only time I had a chance was if I played Ali. I hold my head in shame...

Had a chance to see Ellis and RaR this weekend too. Was great to catch up with Ellis and had a blast watching RaR be naughty (hopefully Santa was watching as well). It surprises me just how gay (and I don't mean happy) RaR acts/dresses when he's been (or going to be) drinking. Makes me wonder if California is doing it to him or if he's really thinking of coming out of the closet. It's ok RaR, don't be ashamed of who you are. ;)
